On Thursday, February 26, 2026, at approximately 2:12 p.m., members of the Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a reported weapons related call on Aloha Drive in the Town of Tecumseh.

During the incident, two vehicles, a black Dodge Challenger and white Ram pickup, left the residence at high speeds, and both were involved in a collision at the intersection of Tecumseh and Lesperance.

The Challenger was immobilized and two persons were arrested.  The white Ram pickup truck and occupants are still outstanding.

This is a rapidly evolving incident currently being investigated by the Essex County OPP – Major Crime Unit, we will provide updates as soon as we are able.
