The final version of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan was presented and adopted at the Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
This comprehensive plan outlines the community’s long‑term vision for parks, recreational amenities, cultural services, and public spaces, helping guide decision‑making for the next several years in the Town of LaSalle.
The final plan reflects public consultation, community feedback, and expert analysis. It identifies key priorities, future facility needs, opportunities for enhanced programming, and strategies to strengthen LaSalle’s growing parks and culture network.
The updated plan ensures that investments in recreation and cultural services continue to support a healthy, active, and connected community.
“The Parks Recreation and Culture Master Plan serves as a strategic roadmap to guide LaSalle in our long-term direction for parks, recreation and culture. Funding is not requested at this time; there are no capital or operating funds allocated for the initiatives identified within the plan. This document has been developed to serve as a guide rather than a commitment by the Town to any immediate implementation,” says Patti Funaro, Director of Culture and Recreation. “Any initiatives that may arise from the Plan will be evaluated individually and presented to Council through the budget process for consideration and approval.”
The Town thanks all residents, community groups, and community partners who contributed their ideas throughout the process.
