Leamington Collision Leads To Several Charges

A driver has been charged following a collision in Leamington.

At approximately 4:39 a.m. on January 25, 2026, members of the OPP investigated a collision on Erie Street South at Seacliff Drive in the Municipality of Leamington.

A 58 year old female resident of Leamington was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act and Highway Traffic act offences:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Driver failure to surrender licence
  • Fail to have insurance card
  • Failure to yield to traffic on through highway

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on March 11, 2026, to answer to the charges.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated for both drivers as per statute.
