Jean Smith

Jean Smith (nee Armstrong), 84 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Erie Shores Hospice. Beloved wife of 62 years to Bowen Smith. Dear mother of Bradley (Charlotte) Smith and Derek (Elizabeth) Smith. Cherished Grandma of Allison, Annika, Orysia and Anderson Smith.

Predeceased by parents Russell and Verna (nee Williams) Armstrong. Jean will be fondly remembered by cousins Ann (Alex) Dalzell, Peter (Dawn) Gilchrist and David (Leanne) Gilchrist. Special friend of Harry and Bonnie Terzopoulos.

Jean’s family would like to extend their gratitude to their family doctor, Dr. Price and the Staff of Erie Shores Hospice for the exceptional and compassionate care shown to Jean during her illness.

In accordance with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
