On Sunday January 11, 2026, the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre will play host to “Hockey Night in Lakeshore” when NHL alumni and Essex County OPP take to the ice in an annual charity hockey event.
This special exhibition game will feature legendary former NHL players, giving fans the chance to see their favourite hockey greats back in action. With end-to-end rushes, dazzling dekes, and powerful slap shots, this game promises nonstop excitement.
The NHL Alumni Tour has previously hosted hockey legends such as Wendel Clark, Curtis Joseph, Tiger Williams, Theo Fleury and many more.

Fans will be on the edge of their seats as old rivalries are ignited and players unleash their legendary skills in a competitive yet fun-filled atmosphere.
The NHL Alumni Benefit Tour supports the Special Olympics and Law Enforcement Torch Run’s mission of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Doors open at 1:00 p.m. and the game starts at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance from any OPP Detachment, $25 online, or $30 at the door. Kids under 3 are free, and discounted $20 tickets for seniors and children under 12.
