Denny Langlois
Dennis Bernard “Denny” Langlois passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Windsor Regional Hospital on November 2, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born in Windsor on July 28, 1946, Denny was a dreamer, a poet, and a man deeply devoted to his family. He built a beautiful home and life for his family at his cherished property in the woods in Kingsville.
Denny is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; his sons Justin and Dylan Langlois; daughters-in-law Danielle Sabelli and Lindsey (Peters) Langlois; and his treasured grandchildren Seth and Jesse Langlois. He came from a large family of 10 children and will also be deeply missed by his brothers Claude & Jerry Langlois, his sister Elaine Rubba, and many extended family and friends.
A multi-talented and entrepreneurial man, Denny owned and operated several successful businesses over the years, including Denny’s Auto Clinic, Wildwood Studio, and Powerband Performance Centre. In his younger days, he was known for his passion for classic cars and drag racing, with an especially soft spot for his Chrysler Road Runners, and eventually his PT Cruisers.
As the years went on, Denny developed a deep love for woodworking and building. Denny’s ambition and talent led him to renovating many homes, including his family home at the Kingsville property that continues to bring his family together today. He loved being in nature, listening to the birds and the wind, and watching the night sky and the deer that would roam through the property.
Denny never missed the opportunity to enjoy his time outside cutting the grass, canoeing, fishing, and exploring with his beloved wife Carolyn, including 9 adventurous months of traveling the continent in their van “The Wild Goose.”
As a devoted father, Denny always celebrated his sons and helped them at every chance he could. Denny’s own love for racing extended into supporting his son Dylan’s motocross racing career, taking them to events across Canada. He also loved a friendly game of pool, a pastime he enjoyed with his sons and closest friends right up until the end.
Those who knew Denny will remember him as a true one-of-kind man, always brimming with support and kindness, wisdom, humour, and genuine love for life. He believed in hard and honest work but never took life too seriously. He was always ready to lend a hand, share a story, or offer advice, often with a laugh and a sparkle in his eye.
He loved deeply and lived fully, always reminding others to treat people with respect and most importantly to follow their dreams.
Denny will be remembered most for his generosity, his adventurous spirit, and the love he had for his family, especially for Carolyn, with whom he shared his heart and soul.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County (2135 Richmond Street, Windsor, ON N8Y 0A1).
The funeral service will be held at St. John de Brébeuf Church on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.kendrickfuneralhome.com.
In closing, Denny’s family wants to share the words that he always echoed in their hearts to “Never give up on a dream.”
