Windsor Regional Cancer Program Receives $2.7M To Support Local Care

The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation announced a remarkable donation of $2,718,473 to the Windsor Regional Cancer Program. This donation represents an investment in hope, healing, and world-class cancer care close to home.

Members from both organizations, along with medical professionals, past patients, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the fundraising efforts of our generous community.

This donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Program will directly enhance patient care across four key departments: Systemic Therapy, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care, and Respiratory Therapy.

“This is more than a number,” said Houida Kassem, Executive Director of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. “This is your impact. This is your compassion in action. Today shows the true power of community when you come together. You don’t just support cancer care, you transform it.”

Jonathan Foster, Clinical Vice President of the Windsor Regional Cancer Program, highlighted how the funds will be used. “This donation will allow us to make meaningful advancements in treatment and strengthen the care patients receive.” Foster said.
