This entrance way has been rebuilt three times since it was first installed. By now, it is the most expensive school entrance in Ontario. 

The current rebuild with the timed stop lights is the worst version yet. Today it managed to achieve full gridlock for almost 15 minutes. 

Full gridlock means that no cars can exit due to the cars waiting to turn in that are blocking the entrance/exit. Nothing moves.  

The traffic was lined up for 100 meters in each direction on Jasperson. Cars were stopping to drop kids off,  turning right through a red light and passing other cars in the driveway in order to exit to the left. 

The problem has nothing to do with the entranceway, the root problem is the location of the crosswalk. I suggest moving the crosswalk down to the Peachwood corner to separate the pedestrians from the cars.
