Helping Our Heroes Fund to host Sea to Sea for PTSD’s Chad Kennedy as he walks across Canada raising money for PTSD

Helping Our Heroes Fund is excited to announce An Evening with Chad Kennedy, scheduled to take place on September 3rd at 6:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #188 in Kingsville.

An Evening with Chad Kennedy will showcase Chad’s story of resiliency as he continues to heal from his own PTSD diagnosis, and how he decided to walk across Canada. Chad founded Sea to Sea for PTSD with the aim of raising money for mental health initiatives across Canada. This year, Chad and his team are walking from St John’s, Newfoundland to Pelee Island, Ontario. You can follow his journey on his website.

Along with Chad, the Vice-President of Helping Our Heroes Fund, Scott Treanor, will also speak to the work we’re doing to make sure no veteran falls through the cracks. The event is free of charge, but donations for both Sea to Sea for PTSD and Helping Our Heroes Fund will be accepted.
