The Kingsville Heritage Society and Archives (KGHS) is marking its 50th anniversary with a day-long coach bus excursion filled with history, culture, and entertainment.
On Friday, September 26, participants will depart from the Epworth United Church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and travel to Oil Springs, Ontario, for a guided visit to the renowned Oil Museum of Canada, where admission is included.
The trip continues to Petrolia, where guests will enjoy lunch at the popular Actors Restaurant (meals not included, $15–$20), followed by free time to stroll the shops in the town’s charming theatre district.
The highlight of the day is a 2 p.m. performance at the Victoria Playhouse, featuring “All About ABBA,” a lively production that traces the meteoric rise of the beloved Swedish pop group through their biggest hits. Main floor tickets are included.
The coach will return to Kingsville by 6 p.m., concluding a memorable celebration of the Society’s half-century of preserving and sharing local history.
Seats are limited, and advance registration is required.
