Norma Schmidt
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Norma May Schmidt, 87, of Kingsville, on July 30 2025. She was born on March 27, 1938, to the late Vera McCluskey and Ernest Wood, in Guelph. Norma is predeceased by her siblings, Barry Wood, Richard Wood, Bill McCluskey, and Patricia Dodds, as well as her loving son, Marco Pagani.
She is survived by her loving partner, Donald Sargent, her daugher, Carla Darmon (nee Pagani), son Paul Pagani, grandchildren Melissa and Monika Pagani, Jennifer Belawetz (nee Darmon), and Kevin Darmon, and great-grandchildren Alyssa and Brandon Belawetz, and her sisters, Suzanne Hebden, and Terri Corbin.
She had a strong love for baseball, always making sure she kept up with her favourite team, The Toronto Blue Jays. Norma also had a very strong love for her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, in addition to so many nieces and nephews that she all loved deeply.
Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home. A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 1:30pm, at Kendrick Funeral Home in Kingsville (91 Division Street South).
If desired, memorial donations may be made in Norma’s honor to the Canadian Cancer Society (500 – 55 St Clair Ave W, Toronto ON M4V2Y7).
