The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce that facilities have reopened, and programs have resumed following the provincial announcement to safely and gradually reopen Ontario.
The Arena will feature indoor Pickleball Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-1 pm. Skating has also recommenced in accordance with the schedule on our website—Self-register for any of our current programs through our Recreation Software Kingsville Click and Play.
Please note capacity limits in all our facilities remain restricted to 50%; this includes the Municipal Office, the Kingsville Arena, the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre, and all Town-owned community centres and rental spaces. Outdoor gatherings are restricted to 25 people, and indoor gatherings and organized public events must not exceed ten people.
The Municipal Office is open for walk-in service; however, residents are encouraged to continue accessing services online whenever possible and connect with staff via email, telephone or zoom. Municipal Office visitors must wear a face mask and practice physical distancing to pay a bill in person. They must also complete a COVID-19 screening checklist if meeting with staff.
At the Arena, Carnegie, Unico Community Centre and other Town-owned rental spaces, visitors must wear a face mask, practice social distancing, complete a screening checklist, and present government identification and QR code proof of vaccination (if 12 years old or over).
The Town aims to return to hybrid Council meetings in March. Until then, Council meetings will continue by Zoom participation with the public invited to watch the meeting at www.kingsville.ca/livestream. Please get in touch with our Clerk’s office to delegate to an upcoming Council meeting.
