OPP arrest one person in an early morning break and enter at the former Kingsville District High School
On March 12, 2026, at 3:59 a.m., members of the Essex County OPP were dispatched to the old Kingsville District High School on Main Street East for an alarm activation.
When they arrived, 2 persons were inside the school and fled.
A 38 year old male resident of Kingsville was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on June 2, 2026, to answer to the charges.
The second individual was not located and was described as having long brown hair and wearing a black leather jacket.
