March 2026 Kingsville Community Food Bank’s Needs

Some things are feeling lighter these days. More hours of daylight, warmer temperatures, and nature’s promise that life will once again be returning to growing things … These can give our hearts a real lift! But unfortunately the coming of spring won’t pay the bills.

If you’ve been around a food bank at all you know that there are a multitude of reasons for people to need help. Being laid off. Being disabled. A chronic illness. Soaring rents and mortgage payments. A minimum wage job in a world of skyrocketing prices.

Financial disasters can hit any of us. The good people at the Kingsville Community Food Bank know all about this. They are always ready to offer assistance. We appreciate the ongoing efforts of the volunteers, and we are thankful to our generous community.

Here’s a list of particular items that the Food Bank is looking for in March:

They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome. If you can help, the Food Bank thanks you for your generosity.

They now accept etransfers at kingsvillefoodbank@gmail.com or you can click this link to donate.

The Food Bank is located at 21 Mill Street West, Unit C, in Kingsville. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
