90 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Erie Shores Hospice on March 1, 2026. Loving husband to Niesje (Rita) Jackson (2020) of 63 years. Devoted father of John Jackson (Peggy), Karen Koestler (Dennis), Donna Jackson (Greg) and Lynn Jackson.

Dear grandpa of Jennifer Jackson, William Allin, Greg Koestler (Vanessa), Collin Tiessen, Sarah Mortley (Mike), Heather Cunnane (Laurence), and Alexis Tiessen. Great grandfather to Matthew, Cecilia and Iris. Survived by his sister-in-law Pauline Jackson (late George).

Predeceased by brother Keith Jackson (Lois) and sister Yula Hodgins (late Russ). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was a mechanic at H.J. Heinz for 37 years, was a member of the square dancing groups, the Swinging Canadians and the Essex Squares.

Memorial visiting at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Thursday March 5, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
