Somewhere beyond this world is a special place where musicians will worship together in Gods presence. I know that Bob and Mike (Betts) have reunited there, and I can only imagine the joy in the music with Funky Fred and so many others that have left this world. Bob has left an incredible legacy with his family – especially his grandchildren> Keep playing those songs – especially “Sometime” on the Dorians Jumping For Joy CD. He was a force to be reckoned with – talented beyond words. May God bless and comfort you , Kathy. Gentle hugs, my friend.
Bob was an energetic and witty friend through high school days. He collaborated with a group of us in starting the Lakeshore Medowas open air summer dance hall in 64, and won Best Actor in the KDHS production of Death Takes a Holiday. These days, so many friends from those days are passing, I wish Death would take a permanent holiday! Bob will be missed.
