
At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Council:
- Permitted a small boarding house for a three-year period at 421 Highway 77.
- Rezoned lands at 931-929 Mersea Road 1 for future development of a subdivision.
- Supported an application for a Proposed Plan of Condominium at 171 Robson Road to create 12 condominium units and common areas.
- Accepted the Municipal services installed in the Keepsake Subdivision, save and except the surface course of asphalt and permanent pavement marking and amended the Traffic By-law to include rights of way within the subject development.
- Amended the On-Call Pay Policy to increase pay rates by $5.00 per day.
- Authorized the Leamington and District Half Century Club as a 2026 Municipal Community Partner and approved funding in the amount of $24,000 in 2026.
- Amended the Election Compliance Audit Committee Terms of Reference, and delegated authority to the Clerk to select and appoint members to the Committee and set a remuneration rate of $150.00 per meeting attended.
