Early Bird Boat Ramp Passes Coming March 1 For LaSalle Residents

LaSalle residents can take advantage of the early bird rate for annual LaSalle Boat Ramp Passes. They will be available for purchase between Sunday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 31.

Early bird passes are $143.00 for LaSalle Residents, or $99.00 for seniors aged 55+. The regular annual pass rate will be in effect for everyone beginning on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Boat ramp passes can be purchased through the Vollmer Centre front desk or online using debit or credit. Passes purchased online will be available for pickup at the Vollmer Centre. Passes are not sent by mail.

The LaSalle Boat Ramp is located along the Detroit River at Front Road and Laurier Drive. During the boating season, an attendant is on-site daily, beginning Friday, April 10, 2026.  Once the ramp is open, boaters must have a seasonal pass or purchase a daily pass to use the boat ramp. 

Boat ramp attendants will be on-site daily from 6:00 am to 7:00 pmweather permitting. Fees can be paid on-site when an attendant is present by debit or credit only. Cash will not be accepted. Boat ramp attendants will not assist with launching boats.

Washroom facilities at the boat ramp will be opened and cleaned daily once the boat ramp is open for the season.

Canoe and kayak paddlers can find docks available at the following Town-owned locations:

  • Vince Marcotte Park, north of the pedestrian bridge over Turkey Creek
  • Retention pond at the Vollmer Complex
  • Near Riverdance Community Centre at LaSalle Landing waterfront
  • River Canard Park
