Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) Holds Annual Public Meeting

The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority has posted the 2024-2025 Annual Public Meeting by means of audio-visual presentation to the WDBA website.

Marie Campagna, Chair of the Board of Directors, Charl van Niekerk, Chief Executive Officer and Joël Hupé, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, reported on WDBA’s operation and activities that are captured in the 2024-2025 Annual Report.

Members of the public can pose questions and request clarification via email at info@wdbridge.com in advance of and up until January 16, 2026. WDBA will post a summary of the questions and answers to Gordiehoweinternationalbridge.com by January 30, 2026.

Created in 2012, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is a not-for-profit Crown corporation which reports to Parliament through the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities. As such, WDBA is wholly owned by the Government of Canada and the powers necessary to carry out the Crown corporation’s mandate are vested in the board that directs it.

WDBA is responsible for the delivery of the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, through a public-private partnership (P3). It is also responsible for project oversight of the construction and the operation of the new crossing. As the operator of the new bridge, WDBA will set and collect all tolls.
