Essex County OPP Kingsville Detachment is investigating a fraud incident where the victim was called from “Financial Services” from a business about fraudulent activity on the credit card.
The call display matched the business phone number so was trusted, and the credit card was submitted for investigation.
The card was subsequently used to purchase items.
