
At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Council:
- Held a Court of Revision meeting under the Drainage Act and confirmed the Schedule of Assessment in the Engineer’s report for Leamington Cost Sharing for Bridges.
- Approved the waiving of the minor variance application fee in the amount of $1,000 regarding 92 Robinson Street.
- Approved request to extend the draft approval given to Golfwood Lakes Plan of Subdivision.
- Approved the Administrative Penalty System Program for the enforcement, processing and resolution of parking and other by-law infractions through an administrative process that serves as an alternative to the POA system.
- Approved the amending agreement and the encroachment agreement with the Leamington Mennonite Homes and Apartments for the new sign installation.
- Directed Administration to proceed with tendering Phase III capital repairs as set out in Report FM-01-26 with regard to the Leamington Arts Centre.
- Passed a by-law to provide for the making of an application for approval to expropriate all right, title and interest for the purpose of expanding Seacliff Park, constructing an additional segment of boardwalk from Seacliff Park to Erie Street, and facilitating improvements to Leamington’s waterfront area and all ancillary works associated.
- Passed a by-law to establish an Administrative Penalty System that will provide a system of administrative penalties and fees when there is failure to comply with a by-law.
