Volunteer Services

Volunteers were at the heart of SECC again this year, giving their time to deliver 2,766 services that supported children, seniors, newcomers, and families. With 221 dedicated volunteers, SECC was able to expand programming, respond to increased community need, and uplift thousands of residents.

Senior Services

This year, our Community Home Support Services programs – including Meals on Wheels, Transportation, Wellness & Social Visits, and Lend a Hand – provided over 4,800 essential supports to seniors and caregivers.

Through 2,766 volunteer-led services, 510 Lend a Hand supports, and many more moments of connection, local seniors were able to access meals, rides, home support, and friendly visits that kept them safe, independent, and socially connected.

A small act – delivering a meal, offering a ride, or sharing an hour – can transform someone’s day. If you want to make a real difference for local seniors, we welcome your involvement in 2026.
