Leamington Council Considers – December 16, 2025

At the Leamington Council meeting of TuesdayDecember 16, 2025, Council will: 

  • Consider providing municipal approval for the proposed Evergreen Memorial Park mausoleum expansion at 366 Talbot Street West, Leamington.
  • Consider the purchase of a new 101’ Aerial Platform Fire Truck through City View Specialty Vehicles for the Canadian purchase price of $2,770,000 (plus HST) through the Canoe Procurement Buying Group of Canada.
  • Consider a By-law to adopt an Emergency Management Program and an Emergency Response Plan. 
  • Consider authorizing Administration to enter into a three-year extension agreement with N-Viro Systems Canada LP, commencing January 1, 2026, for the processing of biosolids at the Leamington Pollution Control Centre.
  • Consider approving an additional amount of $94,998.36 (excluding HST) for the completion of additional works of the Bridge 22 Reconstruction project.
  • Consider commencing a Boundaries Act application to determine the true boundaries of the land known municipally as 18 Park Street, which is required for the functioning of Leamington’s waterfront area. Council will also consider a by-law to authorize the making and submission of the application. 
  • Consider an updated Tangible Capital Assets Policy to reflect current practice and updated standards.
