The Holiday Season can be a magical time of year. But for those who are in need, it can also be a time of greater responsibilities and worry. When your resources just won’t stretch far enough, December brings along some heavy pressure.
Gift giving and laying out Christmas dinners and treats can be a dream come true when you can afford it. They are a nightmare when you can’t. Added to these seasonal challenges, dealing with heating costs and trying to dress for the cold make life harder right now.
The Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help. They welcome any and all donations. And every month they create a list of particular foods they’re looking for. Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is especially looking for in the month of December:

They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome.
As you can imagine, your donations are even more important during this holiday season. We appreciate the ongoing work being done by Food Bank volunteers, and those who give so generously. If you can help, the Food Bank thanks you for your kindness.
The Food Bank is located at 21 Mill Street West in Kingsville. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
