Paving work on Sherk Street is scheduled to begin today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, as part of the ongoing area sewer separation and road reconstruction project.

To safely complete this work, the intersection of Sherk Street and Ellison Avenue will be closed for the day, following the morning bus routes. Motorists are asked to plan ahead and use alternative routes.

Line painting is scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025 (weather permitting) and is expected to take approximately two days. Upon completion of line painting, Sherk Street will reopen to traffic.
