On Sunday September 14, 2025, members of the Essex OPP Detachment responded to a report of an assault at the Harrow Arena on Mcaffee Street in the Community of Harrow in the Town of Essex.

Investigators learned that an altercation occurred in the lobby of the arena. One individual was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, on September 25, 2025, a 41 year old male from Leamington was arrested and charged with assault.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on October 31, 2025.
