Kingsville Town Council will review the following applications at its September 15, 2025 Council meeting:
Vacant Land, Seacliff Drive; Part of Lot 4, Concession 1, Eastern Division: Applications for a residential subdivision and a zoning by-law amendment. ZBA-2023-2 & SUB-2023-1
The proposed residential subdivision (County of Essex File 37-T-24001 and Town File SUB-2023-1) is forty-three (43) single detached dwelling lots and sixteen (16) blocks for thirty-two (32) semi-detached and townhouse dwelling units. The new lots and blocks will have access from the proposed new streets, shown on the draft plan of subdivision.
To facilitate the development, the applicant is proposing an amendment to the zoning (Town File ZBA-2023-1) to permit semi-detached, and townhouse dwelling units; prohibit future development along the shoreline, and rezone and conveyance land to the Town for infrastructure works and in partial fulfillment of their parkland requirements.
The decision to approve the subdivision is with the County of Essex and any comments relating to the subdivision should be sent to Rebecca Belanger, Manager of Planning Services for the County of Essex at
rbelanger@countyofessex.ca.
The rezoning application will be considered by Council for the Town of Kingsville and any comments relating to these applications should be sent to Planning & Development for the Town of Kingsville at planning@kingsville.ca
We are now holding Council and Committee meetings at the Unico Hall Community Centre, 37 Beech Street.
