Eleanor Caven

Born Eleanor Bernice Masse on February 26th, 1929. Passed away peacefully September 12th, 2025 at the age of 96 at Sun Parlor Home in Leamington. She is reunited with her beloved husband Paul. Dear sister of Irene Bahri, Gloria Bossé, Aurora Rivest, and Philip Masse. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Eleanor was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 201 Essex.

Eleanor’s family are sincerely thankful to the staff of 2 West Sun Parlor Home for their wonderful and loving care: she was remembered by the staff as ‘Chickie Wickie’. Special thanks to Diane for her dedicated attention to Ellie’s care for 12 years.

As per Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church (146 Talbot St S, Essex) on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at 11:00am. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home.

She is the last of her generation.
