On August 7, 2025,  at Town Hall, Mayor of Kingsville Dennis Rogers and council welcomed MPP Anthony Leardi, PC Essex again to announce the Town of Kingsville was awarded $500,000 in new funding from the Government of Ontario’s Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.

Combined with a $500,000 investment from the Town of Kingsville, this brings the total to $1 million dollars that will go toward revitalizing and upgrading our baseball diamonds and pickleball courts and other upgrades and improvements at the Kingsville Recreation Complex.

Kingsville residents benefit from investments in local sports and recreation by opening up new opportunities, boosting health and wellness, allowing residents to connect, make recreation more inclusive and accessible, and more.
