SECC Luncheon to Spark Dialogue on Housing and Inequality on Sept. 3

South Essex Community Council (SECC) is calling on community members, leaders, and changemakers to come together for a powerful conversation at the Voices for Impact Luncheon on Tuesday, September 3, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Roma Club, Leamington.

This engaging, thought-provoking event will shine a light on two pressing issues—income inequality and the housing crisis in Windsor-Essex—and create a space for honest dialogue about what can be done.

Guests will hear from Frazier Fathers, Lead Consultant at Community Policy Solutions, who will present findings from the Income Inequality and Housing Crisis in Windsor-Essex report.

Following the presentation, attendees can expect a compelling panel discussion featuring:

  • George Bergen – UE Enclosures
  • Jennifer Hyde – Leamington Community Hope Centre
  • Bryan Rock – Family Services Windsor-Essex

These panelists will bring real, on-the-ground perspectives, sharing how these challenges are impacting our communities and exploring grassroots solutions that can drive meaningful change.

This is more than a luncheon—it’s an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and take part in shaping the future of Windsor-Essex.

Whether you’re a resident looking to better understand these issues, a business leader seeking to make a difference, or a community advocate with ideas to share, this is your moment to join the conversation. For information on Tickets and Details, please visit: secc.on.ca/voices-for-impact

No RSVP beyond ticket purchase is required—just bring your ideas, your questions, and your voice. We look forward to seeing you at the Roma Club on September 3 as we work together to help people and improve lives in Windsor-Essex.
