Kingsville Receiving $9M for Southwest Service Area Watermain Expansion

On August 27, 2025, Anthony Leardi, PC Essex was joined by Mayor Dennis Rogers and members of Kingsville Town Council for a big announcement. Kingsville has received $9,035,681 for our Southwest Service Area Watermain Expansion through the Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund.

By expanding our water distribution network, we are unlocking the potential to build nearly 3,000 new homes. That’s a 30% increase in our housing capacity, creating new opportunities for families, workers, and future generations to settle and thrive in Kingsville.

But we’re not just preparing for tomorrow, we are investing in the wellbeing of our residents today. This project will also increase water services for over 5,000 current residents, ensuring our infrastructure keeps pace with the needs of our growing community.

Thanks to the support of the Ontario Government and our local MPP, we’re moving forward with a major infrastructure project that includes the construction of approximately 5.2 kilometers of new watermains along Road 2 West, County Road 20, and a future collector.
