Kingsville Community Food Bank’s Needs August 2025

We may have the longest summers of anywhere in Canada but even here, summer is more than half over. Thoughts of summer may conjure up carefree days filled with wonderful outdoor activities, but that’s not the reality for a lot of people. Many of those activities require money and some of them cost big bucks.

And for families looking at Back to School time drawing closer, there are price tags everywhere they look. There are new clothes to buy for growing kids, school supplies to pay for, and school lunches to provide.

These are a big fact of life this time of year. They can be real challenges for people having trouble paying their bills or keeping food on the table.

The Kingsville Community Food Bank stands ready to help those who are struggling. Its volunteers are on hand to bring some relief. And we appreciate our community members for their generous donations.

Here’s a wish list of items that the Food Bank is looking for in August:

They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome.

If you can help, the Food Bank thanks you for your generosity.

The Food Bank is now located at 21 Mill Street West in Kingsville. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
