County of Essex road crews have reached the halfway point of their big 2025 summer project – the new roundabout at the intersection of County Road 42 and Manning Road.
All concrete surfaces have been poured on the east side of the roundabout, which sits at the Tecumseh/Lakeshore border. And big changes come on Monday, Aug. 11, when north-south Manning traffic at the intersection flips to the completed east side of the roundabout, after temporary stoplights are installed this weekend to manage that redirected flow.
Also on Monday, road crews begin work on the west side of the roundabout.
The project remains on schedule, with completion still targeted for the end of September. For more information, go to countyofessex.ca/CR42.
