Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Medical Officer of Health for the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, has rescinded the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued on July 8, 2025, for waterline consumers serviced by the Union Water Supply System in the Municipality of Leamington.
The advisory is no longer in effect for the following locations:
- Fuller Avenue (addresses 2 through 13).
- Grace Avenue (addresses 6 through 35).
- Kimball Avenue (addresses 1 through 12).
- Nancy Avenue (addresses 14 through 30 but excludes 17 as this property is serviced from Pearl Avenue).
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit advises users that, based on sufficient water pressure, adequate chlorine levels and water free of bacterial contamination, the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory is no longer in effect.
