Joe passed away on July 17, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Survived by his parents Adrian and Susan Van Kempen. He leaves behind his two daughters Ally and Madelyn and his extended family Tyler, Kayla, Chris and Chad.
Joe will be missed by his brothers and sisters Ann and Kelly, Marybeth, Jerry, BJ, and Michelle. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Dylan (Susan), Megan, Lexie, Madison, Ashton and great niece Elise. He will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, and friends.
Joes lifelong passion was farming, we will always remember him as “Mr. Fixit”- give him some time and “Joeggle” could fix anything. Harleys, fishing and barnyard racing were his favourite pastimes, and he always had a Little Johnny joke for us at break time.
“Until we meet again in a place where the sun never sets and loved ones never part.”
Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home. As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family would like to invite everyone to join them for food and drinks to celebrate and remember Joe on August 16th, 2025, from 4pm-8pm at 1009 Road 2 East in Kingsville.
