Vincent Patrick Bondy

It is with both sadness and joy that we announce that on June 26, 2025, at the age of 86, Vincent Patrick Bondy moved to his new residence in Heaven.

Vincent was a loving and devoted husband to his wife and best friend Irene for 66 years. He will be dearly missed by his children and their families:

-Cheryl and Jack DelBrocco, children Arly and Tommy (Charlotte and Riley), Saundro, and Matteo

-Tim and Claire Bondy, children Chrisandra and Martin (Theo), Caitlyn, and TJ (Vincent and Jude)

-Laurie and Chris Lapain, children Lauren and Brandon, Mary and Nick (Elija, Delilah, Avila, and Kolbe), Michael and Julie (Roman and Violet), Martha and Noah (Fulton, Domenic, Carmella, and Addison), Louise and Maximillian, and Therese and John Paul

-Shelley Bondy, children Jilda and Gabrielle

Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Sylvia and by his siblings, Garnet, Ivan, Dorothy, Ronald, Charles, and Thomas and is survived by his sister Rosemary Trepanier and her husband Jean Marc.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, quiet strength, and a life well-lived. A skilled carpenter and lifelong gardener, Vincent found joy in working with his hands, and his craftsmanship and care have left lasting marks not only in wood and soil, but in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Leamington Mennonite Home, by cheque payable to Leamington Mennonite Home, (35 Pickwick Drive, Leamington, ON N8H 4T5), or encourages acts of kindness to others in Vincent’s memory – fitting tributes to a man who lived with humility, service, and compassion.
