Connecting Migrant Workers with services and supports in the community

The Migrant Worker Community Program is thrilled to announce the 2025 Health and Information Fair!

This event is made possible through the collaboration of over 20 organizations and businesses from Windsor-Essex, Sarnia-Lambton, and Chatham-Kent.

Sunday, April 13th, 2025

Time:
3:00pm-6:00pm

Location:
Roma Club, 19 Seacliff Drive East, Leamington

This is a valuable opportunity for participants to relax, connect with others, and access essential resources and support.

The fair focuses on informing migrant workers about the health and social services available to them in the region.

Attendees will have access to free medical check-ups including blood pressure test, glucose screenings for diabetes, vaccines, dental screenings and so much more.

Other free services for the 2025 Health and Information Fair include:

  • Legal assistance
  • Mental health support
  • Food and music
  • Raffle prizes

All members of the community are welcome! The Migrant Worker Community Program is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Migrant Workers Support Program.

The Migrant Worker Community Program is a non-profit organization.

It is our mission to provide a positive balance to the lives of the migrant worker community by offering educational, social, cultural, recreational, and communication opportunities to help them better integrate into their new community.

Our focus is on supporting agricultural workers with the cultural and language challenges they are faced with. Most of all, the program functions as a bridge between the migrant worker population and the local community.
