The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Leamington Detachment, has charged an individual following a collision investigation.
On October 4, 2024, at approximately 5:32 a.m., emergency services including Leamington Fire Rescue and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on County Road 37 Road north of County Road 18, Municipality of Leamington.
A pickup truck and a Tractor trailer were involved. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old driver from Mississauga has been charged with Careless Driving.
County Road 37 was closed for a short time but has since been reopened.
