Belinda Harris-Ferguson Obituary
Belinda May Harris-Ferguson, 83, of Spiceland went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She was born December 17, 1940 in Kingsville, Ontario to the late Manley and Merva (Geauvreau) Gillett.
Belinda and her husband, Bryce spent most of their years together in Canada. She served as a secretary for Crown Attorney’s Office in Toronto, Century 21 Real Estate Company in Leamington, Ontario and Westberry Sound and Stage in Toronto. Belinda also volunteered at the Snowbirds in Lakeland, Florida.
She loved Southern Gospel Music and enjoyed traveling to Holiness Camp in Lakeland, Florida for over 30 years. A very outgoing person, she loved meeting new people.
Belinda is survived by her husband, Chester Ferguson Jr., whom she married June 30, 2013; two children, Wanda (Pete) Rempel of Cottam, Ontario, Canada and Dean (Florence) Harris of Deltona, Florida; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Clint) Lafeber, Gregory Rempel and Michael Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Payton and Jaxyn Lafeber; four sisters Fran (Alan) Knott, Jean (Mike) Gellner, Phyllis (Victor) Grieco and Cheryl Fader; a brother, John (Sandy) Gillett; a step-son, Ron (Fay) Ferguson and many nieces and nephews; she will also be missed by her best friend, Eva Stevens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Harris in 2004; step-daughter Patti Jackson and step-son, Jeff Ferguson.
Memorial visiting at Reid Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Saturday November 2, 2024 from 10 am until time of Celebration of Belinda’s life at 11:30 am. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
