The Town of Kingsville is accepting applications for volunteers and parade entries for our upcoming Kingsville Migration Festival.
Take part in this annual celebration of migration, heritage, nature conservation and Jack Miner, held the third weekend of October for the past 55 years.
VOLUNTEERS:
Enjoy a fun experience that helps your community or build your high-school community service hours. We need over 60 volunteers to support the Migration Festival Parade by managing barricades along the parade route.
If you’re available on Saturday, October 19, 2024, starting 45 minutes before the parade begins at 10:00 am, we’d love to hear from you!
We also have many other volunteer opportunities at the Great Migration Paint Out, Migration Festival Kick-Off, and at our children’s activities after the parade.
We have a spot for everyone! Apply through our Volunteer Registration form or email questions to specialevents@kingsville.ca.
ENTER YOUR FLOAT:
Register your float or walking group in this year’s Migration Festival Parade. Participation is free, but we ask that your entry be a fall theme or related to the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Get your friends, family or coworkers together for a fun-fall project. Enter today!
VENDORS:
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your products and engage with the community! Join us for the Migration Marketplace, which takes place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre.
Please fill out our Vendor Interest Form to get started. We review all vendor submissions to ensure there is no competition for items. Decisions will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Vendors will be notified by email if selected and asked to complete the full vendor form.
