OPP Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Collision

A single motorcycle collision in the Ruthven area has claimed the life of one individual.

On August 14, 2024, at approximately 9:40pm, members from the Kingsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from Windsor-Essex Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on County Road 34 near County Road 45 in Ruthven, Town of Kingsville.

The motorcyclist, a 64-year-old male, was transported to Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team members are assisting with the investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone with information is urged to contact Kingsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
