At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, April 9, 2024, Council will:
- Hold a public meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
- An application to create zone provisions for Additional Dwelling Units on parcels of urban residential lands located in the Municipality of Leamington.
- An application to unify local parking requirements with those of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act; add definitions to the Zoning By-law regarding Donation Centres, Commercial Decks, and Food Trucks; and adding or amending other definitions in the Zoning By-law.
- An application to rezone 311 Erie Street South to construct a new drive-through restaurant.
- Consider authorizing the purchase and implementation of CityWide Maintenance Manager Solution from PSD CityWide Inc., in the amount of $63,700 plus applicable taxes.
- Consider awarding a tender for the Mersea Park Renewal Project to Barrineti Construction Ltd., in the amount of $3,058,936 plus applicable taxes and that the additional $395,294 be funded from the Parks Reserve.
- Consider awarding a tender for the Promenade Cycle Track Installation project to Lyncon Construction Inc., in the amount of $306,196 plus applicable taxes and that the additional $61,585 be funded from the Waterfront Reserves.
- Consider a request to retain RC Spencer Associates Inc., to complete the engineering services for the Leamington Waterfront Market Plaza project in the amount of $199,850 plus applicable taxes.
- Consider assuming the municipal works installed in the Southwinds Estates Subdivision Phase 2 and accept the surface course of asphalt and final pavement markings.
- Consider removing 105 Erie Street South, Leamington as property on the Municipal Register of Heritage Properties.
- Consider removing 198 Talbot Street East, Leamington, as property of the Municipal Register of Heritage Properties.
