Candace is an enthusiast for all things ART! She got addicted when her artwork was displayed in the local 5c-$1 neighbourhood store by her kindergarten teacher. That was only a few years ago.
She has dabbled in jewellery making, Chinese brush painting, calligraphy, photography, art history, and rock, face and watercolour painting.
Her passion for art has seen her painting paper fans, pressed leaves, faces, rocks, tiles, cards, fences, garden sheds, tea bags, plastic bottles, and paper of all sizes and weights!
She has been known to attempt breaking down doors of art galleries when they aren’t open and walking in circles to find one more wall mural.
Sometimes, she fears she may be damaging her vision by peering over Pinterest and Etsy for many hours online, looking for inspiration for something more spectacular.
The camera is constantly being pulled out of pockets or purses to ‘capture’ that scene or house or passerby that grabs her attention.
Do you do things like this?
Candace adores the Arts Society of Kingsville where she bumps into more crazies like her.
If you answered YES, try not to trip on your way to the Arts Centre on Division Street South in Kingsville where you’ll meet carbon copies of yourself.

A truly gifted family.
Candace Anderson is great! She was a great teacher to my children at Jack Miner Public School. She recently went back into our local schools seeking student participation in the en plein aire competition for Migration Festival 2023, as curated by ASK, where she is a committed volunteer. Plus I love her art work, especially the feathers! Very friendly and engaging person too. Good package!
I love her work – all of it!
