Kingsville Community Food Bank’s Needs for August 2023

It’s August and summer has been moving along. For many people school is coming up and so are extra expenses for books, clothes and a million other things. Just a part of life — unless you don’t have the funds to take care of it all. In those circumstances, sometimes the only area you can cut back on has to be groceries.

Fortunately the Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help. Their dedicated volunteers are standing by to provide some relief. And we appreciate all those who give so generously in our community.

Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is looking for in August:

They  welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome. If you can help, the Food Bank would appreciate it.

From the Food Bank’s Facebook page:

“The Kingsville Community Food Bank proudly serves Kingsville residents who may be experiencing food vulnerability. We offer perishable and non-perishable items as well as personal hygiene items to those who need a helping hand.”

The Food Bank is located at 18 Division Street North in Kingsville across the street from RBC Bank. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
