At the Leamington Council meeting on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, Council will:
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider the following matter:
- Consent Application B-12-23 to add 696.97 square metres of land from 504 Highway 77 to 510 Highway 77 and Zoning By-law Amendment Application (ZBA) No. 279 to change the zoning of the severed lands from an Agricultural Residential (A5) Zone to a Commercial Industrial (C4) Zone.
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Finance Act to consider the following matter:
- 2023 Property Tax Adjustments.
- Consider a report regarding the installation of the generator at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre.
- Consider a report regarding the proposed Naming Rights and Advertising Policy, Donation Policy and Recognition Policy.
- Consider a report regarding the marina facility entrance sign.
- Consider a report regarding the design and construction of Mersea Park improvements.
- Consider a report regarding purchasing two dump bodies, including plows, salters and necessary attachments for the Public Works Department.
- Consider a report regarding the improvements at Seacliff Beach, including beach cleanup, entrance feature, fencing, demolition, and boardwalk extension.
- Consider a report regarding the 2023 Resurfacing Program to allow for mill and pave and tar and chip road maintenance projects throughout the municipality.
- Consider a report regarding the no-stopping signs along Maxon Avenue and James Street.
- Consider a report regarding the appointment of a proxy holder for the Municipality at the Essex Power Corporation’s 2022 shareholders’ annual meeting.
- Consider a report regarding a proposed amendment to the Offsite Servicing Policy – Rural Roads to include a Reasonable Efforts Clause.
- Consider a report regarding recommendations to the Delegation of Authority By-law to create efficiencies, ensure accountability, and improve processes through appropriate delegations and powers of duties.
