Gideon Spevak Seeks Election to Kingsville Town Council

Kingsville resident and longtime community volunteer Gideon Spevak announced on July 11th that he is seeking election to Kingsville’s town council in the upcoming election on October 24th.

Gideon is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 8233.

He has also served as the Youth Representative on Kingsville’s Main Street Development Committee, working alongside Councillor Kim DeYong and Deputy Mayor Gord Queen.

Having been born and raised in the Town of Kingsville, Gideon understands the necessity of preserving this vibrant and historic town that we all call home. He is dedicated to maintaining the small-town atmosphere while looking towards the future and making changes that will benefit all residents of the municipality.

“In a lot of ways, we’re a very different town than we were even ten years ago and we’re changing all of the time. As someone who’s lived here all of my life, I felt a responsibility to serve my home and its people and that’s the most important factor as to why I’ve decided to run for council.

“Kingsville is entering a new era and I believe that it is important to represent all people, including the next generation, in our decision making. I believe that I will serve as a fresh voice on council and I want to deliver for the next generation of Kingsville residents.”

Gideon’s campaign is focused on listening to Kingsville residents, and he extends an open invitation to any Kingsville residents and business owners who would like to speak with him about the issues that matter most to them.
