The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce Jason Suchiu is returning to the municipality as its Deputy Fire Chief. Jason is coming to Kingsville from the Municipality of Lakeshore, where he served as their Deputy Fire Chief. Previously, Jason was Kingsville’s Fire Prevention Officer.
“It’s great to have Jason back in Kingsville, taking on this important role in the organization,” said Fire Chief John Quennell. “His education and experience make him an incredible asset to the Kingsville Fire and Rescue Team.”
Jason holds his Fire Prevention Officer Diploma from the Ontario Fire College and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Windsor. He also has several National Fire Protection Association certifications, including Fire Inspector Level I and II, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, Public Life Safety Education Level II, and Fire Officer Level I and II.
As Deputy Fire Chief, Jason will share in operating responsibilities of the Kingsville Fire Department and share a rotating on-call after-hours role.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Kingsville Fire and Rescue team and working alongside the Chief and emergency services personnel to keep the Kingsville community safe.”
Jason begins his new role with the Town on Monday, May 9, 2022.
