Art Scoop: The Great Migration Paint Out & Migration Sensation

It’s fall in Essex County! Come and paint outdoors, En Plein Air, or come and experience Kingsville’s Annual Migration Festival. Enjoy Kingsville’s restaurants, wineries, Victorian charm, lakefront parks and Kingsville’s newest Art Gallery, the Carnegie Arts & Visitors Centre.

We encourage both emerging and professional artists to register for the Great Migration Paint Out! Prizes are as follows:

First Prize:
$1000 cash

Second Prize:
$500 cash

Third Prize:
$300 cash

Additional prizes are available to be won in different categories.

Kingsville is located on the north shore of Lake Erie on the 42nd parallel, the southernmost point of the province. The town is home to The Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary where thousands of Canada Geese stop over to rest on their migration route in Spring and Fall.

We welcome artists painting in all media to come and paint in and around our beautiful town which offers a variety of historical buildings, marinas, quaint farms and lakeside vistas while enjoying the hospitality and amenities the town has to offer.

Early bird registration of $35.00 until September 24th after the 24th registration fee is $55.00.

  1. I am a new member of the Art Society of Kingsville and I’m amazed at how much talent there is in this small area of the country. Combined with it’s spectacular fall skies, wildlife and shoreline, Kingsville has the quality artists that can send all this home to you with their great works of art. Make sure to see the displays at the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre.
