Leamington Announces Municipal Services For Canada Day

Please note the following municipal service level adjustments for Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1, 2025:

Leamington Municipal Building
The Leamington Municipal Building will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for Canada Day. Residents can continue to report non-urgent municipal issues online at leamington.ca/ReportAnIssue.

Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre
The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Visit leamington.ca/Recreation for more information.

Garbage and Recycling Collection
Urban garbage collection for Tuesday, July 1, will be rescheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Rural garbage collection for Wednesday, July 2, will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Please refer to the collection calendar for details at leamington.ca/Garbage.

Transit
LTGO on-demand transit service will operate on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

LTW Transit (Leamington to Windsor transit service) will not operate on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Canada Day Celebration – Onthe42 Summer Concert and Fireworks Show
Join us on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the SUNSET® Amphitheatre for a standout performance from Forever Seger (Bob Seger Tribute) with Jen Knight Trio opening the show, all leading up to our annual Canada Day fireworks display.

    10:00 PM – Fireworks Show (launched from a barge on Lake Erie)
