BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- A Valid Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Physically and mentally able to perform tasks and duties of the job
- Able to commit to required training and fire calls
- Live in the response area
- No conviction of a criminal offense related to the job duties of a firefighter
RECRUITMENT OPEN HOUSE
- May 26, 2025, at 6:30 pm at both Kingsville and Cottam Fire Stations
- South Station: 1720 Division Road North, Kingsville
- North Station: 120 Fox Street, Cottam
Applicants will have the opportunity to come out and get a sense of what the Fire Department does at their upcoming Recruitment Open House. Meet team members, tour the trucks and check out the specialized equipment.
If you’re not prepared to apply this year but are thinking about applying when recruitment opens again next year, attend the open house and talk to our firefighters to learn about training, expectations, the application process, and what it’s really like to carry a pager and respond at a moment’s notice.
